From Cosby kid to Kravitz mom, she is the master of urban Bohemia.
Lisa was the Huxtable kid we all wanted to be. Okay, she was the only one that I wanted to be. No other Huxtable sister had the edge that Lisa's character Denise had. She was cool and stylish, like that older sister everybody wanted (and still does!). Her looks were ahead of her time, yet completely on point. After she parted from the show in 1992, her style only got better.
Her style is a perfect blend of urban street, bohemian, and rock n roll. She plays around with rich, flowing Moroccan and African inspired prints pairing them with worn-in leathers (some borrowed from her stylish rock star-ex Lenny Kravitz) topped with her favorite bohemian accessories: round shades, stacked rings, menswear hats.
Her hair is something to turn green over. Whether in wild, natural curls or her now signature locks, she stuns. She makes me want braids, though that's just something I could never pull off. But that's her power! She makes anything she wears look so easy and so attainable to everyone.
She has passed this free and easy style on to her It-girl daughter, actress/musician/model Zoe Kravitz, a near carbon copy of Bonet. Still killing it in her fourties(!), her style is as cool as ever. AB
