Known as one of the sexiest and most stylish men in rock and roll, only Sir Mick Jagger could hold the place as our first male Style Icon.
He's made ladies swoon for nearly fifty years. The moves. The talk. The hair. The voice. Those lips. Mick Jagger puts the juice in rock and roll. But he has also made his mark in fashion. Yes, he has a list of model/fashion icons as past loves (Marianne Faithfull, Marsha Hunt, Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall, Anita Pallenberg to name just a few). And, yes, nearly all of his daughters - Jade, Lizzy, and Georgia May - have gone on to be fashion darlings. But Mick can hold his own.
From the Mod days of the early sixties, where he smoldered in collared shirts, blazers, and cigarette pants. To the psychedelic times of the Summer of Love when he swung in Moroccan prints, furs, and flowing bell bottoms. He pioneered the seventies glam, practically living in Studio 54. He and dear friend David Bowie made 80s male makeup cool, and tight leather pieces sexy.
His vibe is contagious, intoxicating. The blend of his music, looks, style, and sex appeal draw everyone in. If anyone deserves to be our first male Style Icon, it is Mick. What's your favorite Mick look or moment? Leave a comment below.
