Instagram Inspriation: 5 Instagram Accounts to Follow Right Now
The seventies are about to take over your spring and summer. Here is a list of five Instagram accounts you need to follow for major inspiration.
The feel of the 1970s (as well as the 60s, let's not forget!) was all over the S/S 2015 runways. Since all of us, I'm assuming, did not get the chance to experience the decade first-hand, we need all the help we can get to recreate that groovy time. To help in this endevour, a list of five Instagram accounts that will give you major fashion, hair, beauty, and vibe inspiration.
1. @janebirkindaily
An account solely dedicated to the ultimate 60s/70s girl Jane Birkin is something we can definitely follow. With constant updates, there is no shortage of fresh inspiration. Have a comment or a question? You can count on a quick response. Needless to say, hours will be spent on this page.
2. @stoned_immaculate_vtg
So after you spend about five hours getting friendly with Jane Birkin, pop on over to Stoned Immaculate Vintage. Not only will this account makes you want to go back to 1972 as quickly as possible, but it also allows you to actually buy pieces from the decade. A classic rare pair of leather bell bottoms? Yes, please! Quick go follow.
3. @70sbabes
70s babes will give you serious time-travel envy if you don't have it already. It's filled with picture after picture of our favorite sun-kissed seventies foxes - everyone from Cher, Bianca Jagger, and Diana Ross to Carly Simon, Charlotte Rampling, and candids from the day.4. @70sdaily
This account will give you an inside look into late 60s/early 70s counterculture life. It makes you want to go to Woodstock, or create a commune. Either way it's major inspiration and definitely gives off the perfect vibe.5. @60s_world
Last, but certainly not least, some love to the decade that started the revolution: the 60s. Photos of Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton, Jim Morrison, Brigette Bardot, and Pattie Boyd fill the feed. You will not run out of ideas. Trust me.
Follow these 'grams immediately. Like your life depends on it. But I know there's more! Share your favorite inspiration accounts below. And check out these great accounts on the side.

Style Icon: Anita Pallenberg
I've decided to start a new weekly series, called "Style Icon," to showcase some of history's trailblazers in fashion and my personal idols.
So for the first post of this series, I could only think of one woman: Anita Pallenberg. Known best as the girlfriend/lover of most of the Rolling Stones, Anita took 70's London by storm. Part flower child, part rock 'n' roll, she wore embroidered shawls, printed mini-dresses, and her signature shag coat. Her style was as intoxicating as her personality. Can you see why the Stones fell in love with her? Now if only there was a way to travel back in time...
