Dubai is booming, become one of the most powerful cities in the world. So it's only fitting that Karl Lagerfeld bring an extravagant Chanel runway show to the newest "It-city" on Earth. The collection was full of Middle-Eastern flavor:
Islamic tile prints, r
ed and white checked dishdasha patterns, and intricate Indian style bead-work. Lagerfeld mashed classic Indian silhouettes with the iconic sense of Chanel. The hair and makeup were highly dramatized; with big voluminous hair, a small headpiece, and dark, dramatic, and jeweled eye makeup.
