Model Behavior: Get Lucky

Seventeen year-old model phenom Lucky Blue Smith is taking the world by storm. Model, rock star, actor, and jet-setter—there is absolutely nothing he can’t do.

The 6’ 3” blonde has walked the runway for all of the major names making the full season circuit this past season. But make no mistake, Lucky’s no rookie. The Utah-native was scouted at ten along with sister Daisy Clementine (very creative names, I know). “The director of Next LA, said, ‘I want to see you in a couple of years,’ and I was like, ‘Um, ok?’” Smith told models.com. “I was ten, I didn’t really care. Then when I was twelve, my family took a road trip to meet with Next.”

Now, Smith is the only male model signed with Next, along with his sisters Daisy Clementine and Pyper America. But his talent doesn’t stop there. The siblings are also three-fourths of the band the Atomics, with the oldest Smith sister, Starlie Cheyenne, as lead singer.

The Atomics are building buzz—their single Too Late is out now—mostly due to Lucky Blue’s one million plus Instagram followers. This fan base is giving him boy-band status in countries like Japan, China, and the good ole USA, where earlier this May he made his daytime debut on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

No matter what he does, we can expect it to be big. Because one thing's for sure: Lucky Blue is going nowhere but up. AB
