She is the supermodel.
Her face is recognizable by just a glance, and only need go by one name: Kate.
Kate Moss has been at the top of the modeling world for over twenty years and
at 40 (can you believe 40?!) still reigns supreme. She has been muse to nearly
every person in the fashion industry, but it is her style – her ora – that we
are really obsessed with.
Her
style is very rock ‘n’ roll, giving the same “I’m with the band” vibe that her
idol (and one of our favourites), Anita Pallenberg, was so famous for. She made bedhead completely acceptable and
turned Hunter wellies into a Glastonbury festival staple. She mixes low street
finds with high fashion couture to create a look that is only Kate. Her Topshop collections have given us all a piece of this magic. As Cara Delevingne so
eloquently said of Moss, “As soon as I heard that she was working with Topshop
it was perfect. It’s like London brand, London girl – the London girl – just coming together.”
She
truly is the London girl. She is the
girl, period. Kate Moss is an enigma. She is larger than life and the fashion
she inspires. She is everywhere and we just can’t get enough.
