The
stylist-turned-designer gives serious 70s glam in her latest resort collection.
The jump
from reality show stylist-to-the-stars to high fashion designer seems like it
would be a difficult task. But in the past few seasons, Rachel Zoe has quickly become
one of the designers to watch.
Her
latest resort collection is spilling with seventies glam giving nods to
iconoclasts Yves Saint Laurent, Bianca Jagger, Diana Ross, as well as modern
legend Kate Moss. The colors and cuts are something Saint Laurent would have
dreamt about, ranging from rich magenta and plum to burnt orange and oxblood
paired with the classic black, white, gold, and silver. Bellbottoms, fringe,
trench coats, and disco dresses scream a sexiness of the time and cater to the
party girl as much as the business woman. AB
